The republican strategist Peter Roff( I think his first name is Peter) , does more than imply it. He said today on the news that JOHN CONYERS was in charge of a 50 man phone bank to get out the message to go vote for McCain in the Mich. primary. How much more proof do you need? I have heard no one deny it.

EL that is exactly what I mean, and your pity would be sorely misplaced. GW's Dad was not controlled by, what you call the religious right, and neither will he. One thing you seem to be afraid of is Christians themselves, which is so typical of left wing liberal slant on things. Liberals can not stand the thought of morals in government or in society. It would spoil all their Bachanalian fun. No more orgies, murdering of unborn babies, etc. You guys might even have to accept the fact that there is a power greater than yourselves.
