It's 'way too low' according to the UofTCC - campuslife.utoronto.ca

'44.6' according to kpmg - kpmg.ch

But part of that is provincial - cfib.ca

A sensitive thing - fin.gc.ca

"The basic effective federal corporate income tax rate for income earned in Canada is 28%. The provinces and territories also levy corporate taxes on income earned within their borders. For business income not entitled to any special tax incentives, the top basic combined federal and provincial or territorial corporate tax rate in 1994 ranges from 38% to 46%, depending on the province or territory."
