Ed, actually I wanted to clarify something you said:

In terms of buying calls, when a stock is volatile, the premiums are high. Even when oversold, right? Today you said best to buy OTM leaps on oversold conditions--and DIM any other time is fine. However if volatile, and oversold, won't one still be paying more for premium than a flatter stock? I am a bit mystified by different people finding different sweet spots--as for example LoF today feeling 02 100's were the only leap he wanted on GLW, as premiums too rich on others.
