That's the address for a comprehensive article about Windows 2000 and how it is or isn't effectively competing in the marketplace.

Of particular interest to me is the discussion about Citrix. You you might remember I bought before Gorilla Game was published. Most of us feel their enabling product has not yet entered the tornado. Consider this excerpt indicating that the tornado might be in sight:

"Citrix used to be kind of a circus sideshow. Now it is moving into the mainstream," GartnerGroup's Enck said.

And my hat is tipped toward Lucius Lamar, remembering his thoughts that Windows 2000 just might require that IT pros re-evaluate their way of doing things. He feels that prior to the advent of W2000 too few people have been considering serious alternatives, that W2000 forces the issue that might lead to a Citrix tornado.
