(grin) Yes, and so much for any real law.

1. Why is it better to believe in God? You seem to believe in Him only as a practical matter (not that this is so awful, except that it seems in your case whether He exists does not concern you, but rather whether the idea of Him is useful). Why is this better than not believing in Him or believing He doesn't exist?

2. How do you think the drubbing Dubya takes might work in his favour?
