Steven:

Thanks for the advice. I learned some of that last fall when I first tried to "trade". I sold many of those stocks for sizeable losses but if I had held them I would now be 40K richer! The only one of the bunch that I held is MDCM...grrr...Wish I could have picked a better one :o) But that showed me that in most cases if you hold on - especially to a good stock, it will come back and move forward.

I watched this one yesterday but thought it had moved too much. Got in today at 2.28 but only established half the position I would like to have. I thought it might come down some more then I'll grab the other half. I was hoping to get in under 2 but not sure that will happen. I did read the report and really liked the longer term prospects for AMCM. Thanks again for the advice...it's always appreciated!

Robyn

AM Communications designs, manufactures and markets network monitoring systems, which include hardware and software, to the broadband communications market for cable TV systems. For the six months ended 9/30/00, revenues rose 83% to $7.6 million. Net income totaled $550 thousand vs. a loss of $848 thousand. Revenues reflect market acceptance of the new products and increased marketing activities. Net income also reflects lower S/G/A expenses as a percentage of revenues.
