I have heard that in California, many Democrats are changing affiliation to Republican party so that they can vote in the primaries, voting for McCain of course. Anybody know to what extent this will play a role in deciding who gets to win in California?

Btw, even registered Democrats can vote in the Republican primaries in CA, except that their votes will not be counted for delegates. But if in terms of popular vote, Bush loses to McCain in California, then he's pretty much a goner. He will lose big-time to Al Gore in November in CA.

And all this without even counting the drubbing that "Duh" will receive during the Presidential election debates to follow, where he will get soundly thrashed by... not Al Gore but by Pat Buchanan who is raring to go at him and is only waiting for the Reform Party to nominate him as its candidate...
