I wonder if Chuckie had to disclose who the secret 2 1/2 contracts were with, during negotiations. I have been waiting for a couple of years to find out.

I'm not thrilled with Pairgain management. This seems to be a complete admission that they missed the boat on developing appropriate OEM agreements for those large service provider contracts.

My feeling is they lost the MCI DSLAM contact and were forced to take an offer from ADCT. When did they finally realize they couldn't compete against Nortel/Promatory at MCI? Hopefully ADCT has a back door for them into MCI.

Pairgain has 1/2 billion in cash/notes/GlobeSpan stock and we presently have a market cap of 1.24 billion. Pairgains business must be worth more than 750 million. Nortel paid 750 million for Promatory. Why hasn't Pairgain been selling this merger to the Pairgain stock holders. I see the ADCT CEO pushing the deal.
