NASDQ up 185 pts today - momenteum investing for the sake of momenteum... Follow the leader - nothing more, nothing less. We will learn a 20 year lesson from this market sooner, or later. I just hope that the shift & rotation with in the market will keep us from a 2-3 year bear. This is insane. There are companies in highly competitive, speculation subsector tech niche's with maybe $3 Million in sales with multi-Billion $ market caps ? That institutional money managers have been sucked up in this new-age legalized - wink & a nod Ponzi scheme is insane... What amazes me; is what were these guys thinking 6 months ago when some of these names were 1/4th of their valuation ? No one was pounding the table saying these were screaming values here ? Its momenteum for merely the sake of momenteum, if it is "working" - nothing else matters... sheer insanity... Anyway - how about MDR today... all those "margin" players, we've had some real volatility here and it aint ending... MDR obviously has some risk left - Moody's downgrade etc. But; the core value is obviously there - with the $ value of JRM alone ! - gotta nibble back today - just a bit. We also might just know why Druckenmiller sold so damn much stock now - might we not ? Amazing that no one has called him out on this one... very, very clairvoyant to say the least... I think the no-brainers are building a margin leveraged position slowly in the core - low risk plays like EOG NBL UCL here... quick moves in the PXD UPR XTO selloff's - keeping more & more for the LT as we trade the pre-OPEC jitters here...
