Hello TNH,

Re: Crazyoldman, which motherboards do you use?

I have used ASUS K7M Rev 1.04 in all three machines. I was planning on trying the Gigabyte 71X for one of the three but got into a hassle getting it so I ordered another K7M. That last ASUS was the only one that had the builtin audio which works good (and with no complications) though probably not quite the quality of a dedicated sound card.

BTW: All three K7M boards had revision "C" steping 6 chipset which means that the SuperBypass can be turned on. The machines "seem" a little faster with that feature turned on but I have not made any timed tests to back that statement up. Too busy build'in more!!!

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
