<<what did greenspan say or not say >>

Hi Bobby. Watched some of that. He said inflation is hard to find if you ignore oil and other commodities; he really isn't interested in deflating the market bubble, he's just concerned with wealth affect it's having; he also said that the old ways of gauging inflation no longer work, but he's really not sure what should be used today, and hey, the old ways could well work again sometime in the unknowable future; I see no inflation, fear no wealth affect, I'm just afraid this damn ship is gonna crash into the invisible dock.

HHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

Basically, Greenspan said he could care less about the average
citizen who has to put up with higher gas and heating oil prices.
If he thinks 30$ oil prices are not inflationary, he's obviously
a man without conscience or integrity. Does he think e-commerce
will be successful with soaring energy prices? How the hell does
he expect deliveries to be made with no trucks or airplanes to deliver them. Are these e-commerce sites going to eat the shipping
charges forever and produce even wider losses on their margins
this quarter? The South Florida ports are already losing millions
a day with truckers strikes virtually shutting down deliveries.
He wants a soft landing but his priming the pump with dollars
that lose value every day is leading this country to stagflation.
An economy that falls flat on its ass with soaring inflation as the
oil price brings this goldilocks economy to its knees. Welcome
to the new millennium, where not every world crisis can be shrugged
off by the preponderance of inane utterances of the media minions.
