Daniel, <Did she take the "Heart of the Ocean" down with her?> Yes she did and that is my story and I am sticking to it. As for the Democratic army, er I mean party, I guess I don't really think about them too much. Your comment has provoked me into giving this some real thought. I just have a series of words that I associate with them; most with negative connotations. Union is one of those words. Its been a lot of years since I read Doug Adams, but I think I remember the part you are referring to. I don't know if I would go as far as to say "mostly harmless". They did manage to get Slick in there for two terms, with a little help from a real crazy named Perot. I have a story about a Democrat that might be telling. I was on a business trip to Tampa. I was in coach and it the row in front of me was a person that looked very familiar. I just could not place him. I watched him work during the flight and could not see all of his face. He was sorting through dozens of little scraps of paper, all different sizes and shapes. There were held together with rubber bands and went into one of those expandable folders, which appeared to be his briefcase. His shoes looked like hell and a clump of hair was at a right angle to his forehead. I said to myself there is man desperate for a real haircut. Some of us go bald and we should face it and not weave some organic hat with gel to cover the chrome. I said to myself that I am glad I have friends who would stop me before I would do such a thing. I felt sorry for the guy, and hoped that he was going to Tampa to make "the big sale" or something so he could at least get a decent pair of shoes. When we got off the plane I realized it was a very famous Democrat Senator from my state. I realized this was all an act to connect. I take my watch off when I call on customers and I drive my American car, I guess he wears a uniform too. I will not underestimate Gore. He is the founder of the internet. Will he win in November? Yes, if the Republicans back the wrong horse and send the wrong message. I still don't know what W's message is. I have requested several times on this thread what specifically the guy is going to do; besides promise me 6% I will never actually see. He is and will be business as usual. I really liked Kemp. I liked what he and Bennett did in CA when they went against the party on Prop 187 (its been a while is that correct?). That took a lot of guts, and screamed integrity. William Weld has been out of the spotlight for a while. I am of like mind, give me fiscal responsibility and a libertarian position on the rights of the individual. Great combination. Its going to be a good race. I agree that regardless of what they are saying right now about staying in until the end, that this race will be determined in two weeks. Good Luck TH
