MKB, what evidence do you have that GMST will probably drop tomorrow? We try to focus on the long term here, though cheerleading after a day like today is cool and crying after a correction is ok too.

GMST will probably go up this year.

[Gemstar' stock] is acting weird.

I've been following the stock for about four years and sadly have owned it for only about one year. Its current behavior is typical. I've never been able to explain the massive short-term movements in either direction that seem to be par for the course for Gemstar.

I think some of it has to do with a relatively small float of 100 million shares which about a year ago was only 25 million if I remember my splits correctly. Apparently the larger, post-split float isn't doing a lot to decrease volatility.

MKB,

I applaud you regarding GMST. This stock is acting weird. It will probably drop tomorrow at par with the rest of the stocks.

When you expect Gemstar to drop it does just the opposite. Of this I am certain and have breathed it.

Stew
