"Anemic" rally? The Nasdaq hitting new highs every week on historic, sustained heavy volume, with participating sectors expanding to include some that have been in the dustbin for years, like biotechs? "Anemic" rally, just as the Russell is picking itself off the mat after years of underperformance...something that's generally seen early in the business cycle and not the end...?

What's your definition of a "broad" rally? When was the last time you saw one? If the Dow returns to new highs next month, led by a few large caps like GE, will you dismiss it and call it "narrow?"

There are always strong stocks, and there are always weak stocks...it's called a market, and avoiding the weak stocks and being in strong ones is the name of the game. Flippantly dismissing each consecutive market high as "anemic" is NOT being in the game.

What brings you over here, anyway? Looking for a hot tip?

You are sounding like Lucretious, Andrew. It is sad what the market does to otherwise sensible people.
