<the thing I find fascinating about this new "economy" is that it has a very strong deflationary component and will replace so many middle men and salesmen and stores..> IMO the 'salesmen' at least in retail that your average person [me] deals with day in and day out have long ago stopped learning anything about what they're selling. Go buy anything in a store in Germany and see how knowledgable the people are. My point isn't to disagree with your basis, but to point out that unfortunately it's been decades since the system abandoned these people. I also believe that part of the the 'middle man' position is to keep information from the market in order to profit [in some cases]... so this is partly a good thing. DAK
