Yah. That's why I too was thinking of Thor. Titanium is incredibly hard to cut, and it has all sorts of details machined into the various cast surfaces. It's a Titanium porcupine leg.

The metallurgy is, well, metallurgical.

I might need to go visit the factory.

You know.

See where all the pieces come from. I doubt it's old Volkswagen bumpers.

Maybe from other planets.

Indeed. I saw a male portion of that joint that was rejected for being too rough. It was smooth as glass.

When they first started doing that operation the last strike of the mallet driving in the lower part split the femur about 1/2 the time. Then it was wheelchair forever. Much better now.
