Thanks very much for your post. From the HRD web site, "The merger is expected to close following the completion of the federal antitrust review process, which is anticipated to occur in the second quarter."

I'm already an HRD shareholder (and have been for a long time), so my decision is whether or not to hold, not whether to buy.

Best wishes,

I2

Robert, Investor2. Warning on hrd. I closed out my put and call short sale combo with slight profit. I believe that if deal goes through the July puts will take on default position equivalent to non voting stock holder which will be all stock. The 65 put would be 65-2.9*17 or 15 plus at todays dza price. Sorry for the bad advice.

Robert, this is reply to Feb post on HRD. Are you still holding and if so have you received any communication on selecting stock/cash? Seems like merger date should be here in next month or so.

Robert, are you still patiently holding hrd? It seems to me that dza has too much time and energy invested to let this merger fail. If you take them at their word and if DOJ doesn't surprise us then we should have a final date in the next two weeks. My play was to buy a call spread of hrdgn over hrdgo at 2 1/2. CAVEAT, if merger goes thru the calls collapse day after. Another interesting arbitrage with options is gmst and tvgia. TVGIA selling at nice discount to offer and gmst calls priced at higher level of volatility because Lehman put gmst on ten best list. Good luck, sure would like to see this thread come alive.
