Vertical counts:

Find the first column of Xs that starts an uptrend (I figure the first breakout is the start of an uptrend). Wait for the column to be completed and the chart to hit Os. Count the number of boxes in the column of Xs and multiply by the reversal amount (usually 3 if you are using 3 box reversals). Multiply the number by the value per box (hard if you're using percentage box sizes :-) ) and add the result to the price at the bottom of the X column. The price you get is the price objective. Reverse all that for breakdowns.

And hope for the best :-) -- vertical counts aren't going to happen just 'cause that's what you calculated, nothing is guaranteed in the stock market. But the counts can give you some idea of risk/reward.
