Tenchusatsu,

re:"Steve, why can't AMD sell every Athlon they make, especially during a period of extremely high demand? Perhaps you should be more worried about that than continuing your childish taunts."

AMD has stated: "we now expect that AMD's first-quarter revenues will be flat to nominally higher than the record sales reported in the seasonally strong fourth quarter."

Business looks good to me. Intel is hurting and has been since CamiNO-GO.

I post my opinions, I supply links occassionally.

I will continue to do so.

Hint:[TM Tony]
Get over it.

Ten,

Steve, why can't AMD sell every Athlon they make, especially during a period of extremely high demand? Perhaps you should be more worried about that than continuing your childish taunts.

OEM's aren't interested in purchasing Athlons. This can be verified by taking a trip to Fry's.

Ten....for what it's worth, I just received GTW winter 2000 catalog and ALL of the featured machines, PC's and notebooks, had INTEL inside. There was not one AMD product to be found. Thought this to be a bit strange(with all the GTW/AMD hype), but re-enforces my opinion that if people have a choice, they are gonna choose "Intel inside".
AMD can make all the chips they want, but as long as Intel chips are around AMD is just second best. AND I believe this to be the reason AMD is lowering prices in this tight market.....but I could be wrong....M
