Qualcomm's Jacobs on Stock Price and China Business: Comment Dana Point, California, Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Qualcomm Inc. Chief Executive Irwin Jacobs comments on the company's stock price and business at the Roth Capital Partners investment conference in Dana Point, California. Qualcomm developed a wireless-phone technology now used by 50 million people. On Qualcomm's stock repeating last year's surge, when the shares rose 27-fold, making it the best performer in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index: ``It's hard to duplicate that. I never project stock price. If we can execute, long-term, hopefully the market will recognize it.' On the framework license agreement signed last week in China: ``I hope it's a final agreement. You can never tell in China. We still need to sign individual agreements (with manufacturers.)' On future business in China: ``Next year will be where the real growth occurs. I'm sure in five years it will be a significant part of our business.'
