Hi Rashid! I can understand exactly what you were saying in reference to the size of the trade in comparison to the size of the overall account. For me, I am not comfortable with having more than 3-5 trades open at one time...especially if they are volatile stocks. I also find myself most comfortable with share amounts of 1000-5000 shares in any single stock. This makes it very easy for me to get in and out quickly. But as my account has grown I have found that I tend to buy stocks that are higher priced than I used to. This is because I have the available funds and I like to keep my money working in the market. So instead of adding more positions in different stocks I just play stocks of higher value. The higher value stocks move the same percentages as the lower priced stocks but I can handle a larger amount of capital and produce a larger capital return via the same percentage move.

Am I making sense? I just thought I would toss in my 2 bucks. <g>

Cheers!
