DMA,

Agreed and I was in shock at Kemp's performance.

My super die-hard Republican buddy and I were talking about this just last week. What happened was Kemp took the high, high road and it caused a disconnect with the people. I think the friction between Dole and Kemp was not a positive too, and Kemp's message and presentation would have been very different if he had been calling all the shots, or was running for the top spot.

Its too bad as it really killed Kemp in the eyes of the public. I really like what he has stood for, and believe that he had the potential to be the great uniter of the party and the independents.

I don't think Gore was that good that night, but he has gotten better. His focus and his presentation are organized, but he still struggles with certain facts. Bradley has beaten him more than once, but didn't really the mileage he deserved.

If it is Bush, he better get some polish before facing with Gore.

Good Luck
