Which ones? If you're talking about the recent Pine, Hemlock, and Willow cancellations, this was just a case of Intel cutting losses where necessary in order to concentrate on other areas. I don't think many customers would have demanded those motherboards anyway, since they feature the 820 or 840 chipsets with the RDRAM-to-SDRAM translator. And I'm personally not too fond of that translator, especially since it degrades performance in platforms that are supposed to be geared towards performance.

Intel is right when they say that most people buying 820 or 840 motherboards are also the kind of people that would also buy RDRAM. If they wanted SDRAM, they'd either go with 440BX, or they'd go with Via or ServerWorks.
