Content vs. Conduit

As followers of George Gilder know, the cardinal sin of the telecosm is the mixing of content and conduit. If GG is right then AOL-TWX is doomed from the start and it is the last model that GBLX should wish to emulate. GBLX seems focused on leveraging its global network with a services portfolio rather than a content portfolio. Wall Street is obviously slow to get the big picture but it seems that the SSB report shows that they are catching on. When they really do today's depressed prices will be a distant memory.

Why restrict the company to one provider of content? That makes no sense. Seriously, we want an open system - that way the value of the network really does increase by the square of its nodes (note that I said nodes, not people).
