Softbank says no comment on Toy "R" Us report
TOKYO, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Softbank Corp said on Thursday it could not comment on a media report that it is expected to invest $60 million in the Internet site of Toys ''R'' Us Inc (NYSE:TOY - news).

The Wall Street Journal said on Wednesday that Softbank Venture Capital, a U.S. investment unit of the Japanese Internet investor, had agreed to invest $60 million in the Toys ''R'' Us Web site.

''We cannot make any comment about the media report,'' a Softbank spokesman said.

In April last year, Benchmark Capital agreed to invest more than $10 million in the major toy retailer's Internet site, but then cancelled the deal in August because of disagreements about ownership, the report said.

By 0546 GMT, Softbank's shares were up 6,000 yen or 3.82 percent at 163,000 yen.

Do not know bottom level, but simply adding gently as 648 drifts down.

Guangdong International Trust and Investment Corporation, or GITIC is the bank you are thinking of that trigered the red chip dive.

The navy is only for show in the Taiwan Strait, as the island can simply be over come by declaring a free fire zone, which ups the insurance rates, and stops the commercial airliners from flying and the economy stops in short time. As the economies of the players are so connected, there will be no fight unless Taiwan chooses to go independent, in which case I will be the first on a flight to, oh, say Bushwanga in the Philippines. But not before selling all shares.
