TNH - Re: "There are 3 listings for $829, $1002 and $1016. I was curious about the big price gap so I clicked on the listing for the $829. Their website (PCCOST) only has listings for PIII-750 for $830 (BOX) and $779 (OEM) but no PIII-800.
The other 2 sites have them but one shows "Limited In Stock".

So....which one did you buy?

Paul

There are 3 listings for $829, $1002 and $1016.

At $1,000+, I am sure they are available. Maybe these sites are fronts for Dell. If Dell can sell the 800 MHz PIII for $1,000 they probably end up with more profit than selling it with the rest of the computer around it.
