Hi Marc,

No Final Fantasy for Q1 (FF9 is slated for later this year), but there are a few other Playstation 'A' games in Q1. Here are the ones I'm aware of:

Syphon Filter 2 (Sony's 989 Studios)
Tenchu 2 (Activision)
Ace Combat 3 (Namco)
Fear Effect (Eidos)
Saga Frontier 2 (Square)

Still, I think that's few enough that Smackdown should do very well. Given the amount of press and hype Smackdown has right now, I'm pretty comfortable with THQ's assessment that it'll be the top selling PSX game in Q1.

For the life of me, I can't understand where the big cuts in estimates for the two quarters came from. I tried listening to the CC live on the internet and frequently got long gaps just at some critical point. I gave up and called into the telephone conference directly for about the last half of the call and then re-listened to the first half on the web. Nothing jumped out at me to justify the big cuts other than a possible slow down in Nintendo games and a lowering of prices on mass market games. Can someone help me out here?

If I didn't already have THQ stock coming out the wazoo, I'd buy more. Am I missing something?
