**OT** Wipro may go for overseas issue after revamp report

Feb 24, 2000

Bangalore: India's Wipro Ltd., an information technology major with diversified businesses, may set the ball rolling for its first overseas listing after Morgan Stanley submits its final report on the company's "optimal structure" in a couple of weeks, a company official indicated on Thursday.
Suresh Senapaty, executive vice-president (finance), Wipro Ltd. told Bridge News that Morgan Stanley's "final report is expected in a couple of weeks and the (Wipro) board will take up the report thereafter".

"Final decision with respect to overseas listing will be taken only after the board has considered various options including the Morgan Stanley report," Senapaty said. Bridge News
