RB, i agree with your assessment of Greenspan...however, the crack-up boom will eventually end NO MATTER what the Fed does. there's only the choice between ending it via Fed-induced credit contraction (bad, but survivable) or a complete disaster...
that's if you believe in the Austrian economic perspective, which has yet to be disproven.

Rarebird, The DOW has become immaterial in spite of what everyone thinks. It is the NDX 100 that is the index to watch in terms of bull market.
Look at the DOW - it is down 82 points, NDX up 66. Same old, same old...
