Yes, and they use a lot of the technology from some of our favorite hardware and software (pick and shovels) companies. I hope they buy lots and lots of it.

I guess the line would be drawn with some of the business to business middleware and tradematrix proprietary products which have high switching costs and barrier to entry. I've always been careful to try and keep discussion of B2B on the eWorld thread. Yet, now - that solidly involves what was formerly known only as 'enterprise application-software vendors' like SAP, Siebel, i2, Oracle and more. Not to mention our gorilla Microsoft certainly has a few toes in the Internet world. And we have the portion of Gemstar that will be competing in the Godzilla world when it comes to the advertising model.

I assume the line will only continue to blur. However, I agree with you about the business to consumer Internet model.
