I'm not sure the content+ delivery argument is valid for all models. The ATHM/Excite deal was indeed unfortunate because ATHM didn't have the number of subscribers to be a heavy hitter and the content from Excite was not nearly exciting enough. Better competition on both fronts have outpaced them. The AOL/Time Warner deal has much more potential because they are each giants in their field. The synergy is more apparent. Heather
