I did get a Palm V last summer as an experiment (much easier to carry than my Jornada). Haven't ventured into downloading software yet, but bookmarked the avantgo inc. site you posted, thanks. I'm waiting to see the new Palms soon to be released and will likely upgrade when I return Stateside in May. (I will have to compare Sprint with BAM at that time as well. I currently have two Sprint subscriptions - for the 2760 & TouchPoint.) BTW, my suitcase wouldn't be so heavy if it weren't for all the chargers and adaptors! Getting dressed in the morning isn't so easy anymore. Now we have to decide what communications device(s) we will be carrying!!! Regarding IPOs: I generally don't pay much attention unless I get insider shares (through my E*Trade and Wit accounts). However, PALM is going to be hard to resist. Can't imagine losing on this one. The only question will be how much will we make. On SUVs: I rented an Excursion from Budget at Logan Airport in December. Holy !@#$, was I Queen of the road or what? It was great for hauling Christmas presents around. But after the first few days it didn't feel so big anymore, funny that.
