Agree with your observation that Q is pushing HDR as a separate product. The licensing is separate and the ability to work with GSM and presumably TDMA make it separately marketable. Very smart approach IMO. Both AT&T and Europeans could develop an interest without losing any face. It would allow them to say they are still using their tech for voice and are now adding data capability that is equivalent to 3G.

At the analyst conference last week Q did indicate that they will be meeting with "industry" next month to introduce HDR. Could be a landmark.
