Interesting.

Isn't CDMA considered a transient technology at all?

But then, is it a short story if I get you right?

Auric...

Do you have any knowledge of WEBB. Company has short up from around 9 to over 60 in a fairly short time. Focus is on B2B for small businesses. Running out of cash and bigger companies are getting into the market niche.

I shorted this one at 12 covered at 9 and watched it rocket up.

Appreciate any comments.

Preference Technologies Introduces the Global Information Gateway; The CompanyLaunches the GIG, A Multi-Channel Communications and Information Aggregator
Thu Feb 24 15:17:00 EST 2000

LAS VEGAS, Feb 24, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Preference Technologies(TM), Inc.
(OTCBB:PFER), today announced its inaugural product, the Global Information
Gateway (GIG)(TM).

The GIG is a free software product that acts as the world's most resourceful and
effective multi-channel communications and information aggregator, delivering
real-time, customizable news and information to a user's desktop. Each channel
provides specialized and customized information in various lifestyle areas
(e.g., business, sports, entertainment, etc.).

QuoteStream(TM), Channel One, was the first channel to be introduced for the
GIG, providing the user with up-to-the-minute business and financial
information. The GIG, with QuoteStream, is currently available at
www.quotestream.com.

Like QuoteStream, each additional channel on the Global Information Gateway will
organize news and information pertaining to the lifestyle subject matter of that
specific channel. In addition to becoming the next generation in searching for
information on the Internet, the GIG also provides a direct communication link
to the consumer, enabling the client to launch more effective targeted marketing
campaigns.

The GIG is the first of many products and technologies under development at
Preference Technologies, each designed to retain traffic and direct unique users
to the client's Web site.

"The Global Information Gateway is the first step in providing Internet users
better access to news and information," said Kingsley Sur, vice president of
business development for Preference Technologies.

"Its ability to sift through, organize and present real-time information that
you, the user, can customize is immeasurably powerful. Combine this with its
ability to build brand recognition and provide a two-way communication link for
potential partners to consumers, and you not only have the next generation in
Internet technology, but also the future of how business will be done on the
net," said Kingsley.

About QuoteStream

QuoteStream is not a Web site. QuoteStream is Channel One on the Global
Information Gateway, a downloadable software product. It uses proprietary
second-generation Internet technology to provide customizable real-time stock
and financial news, business news as well as local and national news
information.

In addition to real-time, detailed stock quotes and in-depth news and analysis,
QuoteStream users have access to the Internet's most comprehensive financial and
investment training, financial educational materials, free e-mail, instant
messaging, multiple e-mail account checking, graphically enhanced streaming
audio programming and links to a large number of premier online consumer product
and service directories and the QuoteStream Network (QSN) feature, the GIG's
broadcast feature.
