Just looked at a post on the AMAT thread about PC shipments in Asia/Pacific region. No mention of Dell, although it mentioned IBM, Legend Computers and others. Where is Dell? I would assume their growth has to be good as well in this region of the world?

Steve,
Hi!!

RE: Kemble: Looks like your patience with DELL is starting to pay off....It's a good thing most of my relatives (with large DELL positions) are almost as patient as you are <VBG>...They continue to HOLD lots of DELL shares and seem to be convinced that DELL will deliver solid returns....It's about time for DELL to lead the NAZ to new highs again...:-)

Big plans take long planning periods....Creating huge value when you are already a $25billion company is not something you can expect them or anyone to make overnight..."DELL has been working at a feverish pace to create value out of box"....IMO we are beginning to see these new areas develop....Surely the global expansion is obvious....DELL didn't and isn't building what they did or are for no reason whatsoever... :o) Service will turn heads..."DELL WAS ECOMMERCE EFFICIENT LONG BEFORE IT WAS COOL"....Steve, reading back into the summer months and in some cases the early Spring you find articles that were signaling DELL's change...As Patrick has said many times the fact that DELL can turn this $20+Billion company on a dime and not have the revenue growth suffer is amazing...DELL is still stealing market share and punishing the profits of all the others...Wait till the direct model and the internet initiatives of frictionless transactions take hold this year...The pressure on the other corporations is gonna be felt big time...

Best, Kemble
