Rather than just look askance at the Dow, have a look at the entire NYSE.

Its within spitting distance of touching its Oct 98 lows.

This is not a 30 stock problem... its thousands. Even the Nasdaq-specific advance-decline line underscores this. This move is getting narrower and narrower, and that just simply can not go on forever. It will break - could be tomorrow, Monday or next year, but it will. And when it does, it will break very big...

Hey, thats a heck of a wedge on the Nasdaq daily forming; and just pierced a little on the upside today. A gap up (to complete a bull trap) in the am, followed by even a modest reversal would set up an interesting formation in time for next week.

I'm not suggesting that will be how it will play out, but I have found it profitable to anticipate the diabolical and be ready...
