BrianP., I had to give up anger, so your conjecture is amiss. BTW, do you have a problem with English? I have no problem with McCain as a person. Yes he was a POW. Yes, he conducted himself in a manner both brave, and honorable. Does that make any person presidential material? There have been hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Americans held a POWs, abused, and many times killed, who behaved in an equally brave, and honorable, manner. Are the all of them to be considered presidential material? What else has McCain done? Be a senator? Champion the conservative cause? A man who roomed with McCain, as a prisoner of war for one and a half years, says thatMcCain was too liberal for his taste, even though their shared suffering has kept them as personal friends. There are 100 senators. Are all of them to be considered presidential material? How about Ted Kennedy? Not! What about Strom Thurmond? Not. Many others could be listed. It takes more than having been a POW, as admirable as that is, to make a good president. What else has he done? Are you aware of Bush's job well done in the state of Texas? I could list them but, it would take too much time. If McCain were to get the nomination, I would vote for him. I would have no other choice on the other side of the aisle. I do not hate any person but, I do detest the liberal movement and its bent toward socialism. That is all I will say about that. ~H~
