OT Fabmart launches virtual book store fabmart.com By Our Staff Reporter CHENNAI, FEB. 23. A virtual book store at Fabmart.com was launched by Fabmart today here. To begin with nearly 2,000 titles of different categories such as business, fiction, art and children's books will be available. Next month, the number of titles will go up to 20,000. The Bangalore based company has already a virtual music store at its site. The highlight of the launch was a short story by the famous author, Mr. R. K. Narayan, made available for free digital download in the Internet. This is first of its kind according to Mr. V. S. Sudhakar, Managing Director, Fabmart. The site will also hold online short story competition, open to all age groups. The digital download of the short-story was done by Mr. N. Ram, Editor, Frontline. The MD said the company had tied up with Citibank to allow secure payment transactions.
