Epi Re...<<<Yes, I unconditionally concede that there is much more to whether a stock is a good investment and whether it's share price will appreciate than eps etc. Most stocks performance, Particularly high tech stocks, seem to be only loosely coupled to their companies profit outlook but the fundamentals do ultimately underlie everything and from that perspective AMD is fundamentally attractive relative to other higher priced issues. (as long as it remains profitable) I think that is what Hmaly was trying to say.

Thanks for the help. I have no idea how my little comment became the topic of outrage for some people. I sincerely believe that EPS and growth are the most important factors in investing and trying to decide where to put my money. Truth be told I have a neural stock trading program and that tells me where to invest. But before I had the program I had already invested in AMD and I see no reason to change now. If my program tells me to take my money and run I will do so. Does that make Intel a bad investment? No It's just that I think AMD is a better investment for now. 6 mo. or a yr. from now? Have no idea. But I have no intention of riding this puppy back down for very long and I use a stop loss program to determine that pt. So when my program tells me to leave, I'm outta here.
