Speaking of which, there is this PPD outfit with some "cryptogenomics" components as well: pharmacogenomics angle: biz.yahoo.com drug discovery: ppdi.com Bad news? Well, the main business is CRO and you know how in the toilet this is. More bad news? This thing actually makes money and has a PE of 15 or so (according to Yahoo! quotes). This puts it squarely in value territory and you know what that means these days. More bad news? It is expected to make $1.24 EPS for '00 and $1.50 for '01. I believe Reeves looked at this sector, CRO, a while back, but quickly may have come to his senses. PB
