Lucius, I never underestimate the ability of the TV broadcasters and the cable industry to do everything in their power to delay and obstruct any form of progress. They have a situation varying between monopoly and oligopoly and fat profits. Amen. Gemstar is aligned with all the major broadcasters. They have little worry about any legislative fix because the politicians are afraid of media retaliation. Few names are bigger than Malone and Murdoch in the media world. Each will own a 19.6% stake in the little train that could. Eisner's Americast venture with the RBOC's has an exclusive Gemstar agreement. The New Media has also embraced Gemstar as witnessed by Microsoft and AOL. Regards Stew
