OT I understand about the set dollar amount you look for each month. GERMAN cars, eh? You're talking my language! I just returned from Germany last week - oh, the cars!! "With regard to rate of return, that is a very personal measure from trader to trader, wouldn't you agree?" Oh, yes I agree, my ROR goal is 10% a month, since you engage in more complicated strategies than I do, I was wondering what your scale was. "And I look at total premiums of each trade as a ratio of the margin in use for the trade, just to make sure it is worth the trouble" - so you do a similar calculation to me, except in my case it is against actual cash out.
