OT My statement was not intended to be a blow to Asians but to the eastern way of doing business. It's not right or wrong just a cultural difference. On the other side, Asian business does an extraordinary job of executing long-term strategies and not being overly focused on the short term. This deal was made, the Chinese are attempting to use it as leverage for the WTO or to get a better licensing deal after consummation in good faith. Look at the facts, I have experienced this myself, my family did as a partner in a Lexus dealership and many I know have working for eastern based companies. In defense of China Unicom, the Chinese government made the decision.
