re: oversold:

BSX is the poster child for unloved stocks right now. Month after month of bad news, uncertainty, and bad press. What else can possibly go wrong?

It's such a volatile stock, that, even if I'm wrong, and the stock never goes back into favor, there are bound to be some temporary rallies to 25, once every 3 or 4 months. If the stock is still hated in a year (or we have a recession, or China invades Taiwan) then I'll sell on one of those rallies, and probably get all my money back. And, the upside is that those options could be worth 30 apiece if sentiment returns to where it was in mid-1999.

If I had more discipline, I'd just stop looking at the stock for a year.
