(Putting my shoe back on) - thanks for getting my foot out of the conversation :). Much better now...

<Hugh? I would say both.....wouldn't you.
No, I wouldn't. I believe that the first thing.. the only real thing a company and it's investors need to worry about is making a profit. They need to sell their products or services. Not their stock.>

I think you have missed my point...entirely. Not saying that the company has to do anything, but was saying that boards like this have the ability to attract new investors or turn them off and have them move on. And we ALL need new investors....its what makes the world go round. I am betting that when you get around to selling your shares that you will want someone out there to buy them. Also, what do you think makes the stock price go up....people buying shares, many of them NEW people. Someone that is willing to take a chance on the stock and buy it at the "ask" and more then more buyers after them. Without someone to buy shares.....nothing happens. Its that simple.

Boards such as this are something that yesterdays stock traders did not have. When I first joined SI I simply could not believe all the information suddenly at my fingertips. It was overwhelming actually. I have seen good stocks climb simply on the quality of posts...on the information available to everyone. You should not underestimate the influence that this SI and other boards have on a stock.

Also.....in yesterdays world, no one had little computers on their desk and the ability to trade. There was little the common guy could do to effect much of anything. But now, we all have a voice and the power of desktop trading. For the first time the common man has the ability to actually make stocks move.......up and down. This is all pretty new.

So, all I am saying is that as a long on edig, I want the new investor that stops by here for the first time to get a FAIR shot at seeing the REAL edig picture....whatever that is, at that time. Good or bad. Not one that is shadowed by a constant negative overtone from one single individual.

Who knows, maybe that new investor will be the one that buys your shares when you get ready to sell....

You never know...
