Kash,

Welcome other folks views on risk management in a choppy market.

I've been doing great with my NSM options.

Unless Dresden starts cranking out some GHz parts pretty soon I don't see a whole lot of growth in AMD's revenues next quarter.

RE: <But the whole world has figured this out and call premiums are very high right now >

Kash,

Whew, Tell me about it!, It is exactly the issue of those high premiums that is making it so tempting for me to write some calls at this point. I sold 10 contracts of AMDCI for 2.75 on 02/17 to cover my margin interest (quite a bit more than cover it though since it is only around 500$ a month) and it is going so well at this point that I will be hard pressed to talk myself out of making covered calls a part of my strategy from now on. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the matter, I appreciate it.

Thank you

Epinephrine

Kash, Epinephrine:

Advice: Buy April or May $50 calls! Once through $45.50 and $48.50 (in March), the upswing should be rather swift and large...AMD at $42.50 is like a compressed spring...
