You are almost correct regarding the use of CDMA over TDMA - because the signal is spread over a relatively large bandwidth, it's impossible to jam. Encryption is added as an additional safeguard

So I understand, is the difference then, the encrytion?

Do you mean the bandwidth increase which mitigates the harmful effects of intentional interference ala military jammers, or inadvertent, like co-channel users ? or do i need to simplify it for you ?
