Kemble, My father finally let me order a computer for him. I ordered the cheapest model, of course it is a Dell, doubled the memory, added a printer and UPS, total with shipping was about $1150. Ordered online last Friday at lunch, it was ready to ship 24 hours later and arrived via UPS yesterday. I started to set it up about 4:30, had everything going fine by 8, would have taken half the time if Dad hadn't insisted on an explanation of everything I did. ggggg This system has 4 times the speed, 4 times the RAM, 4 times the hard drive capacity and cost 1/4 as much as the one I bought in May '95. 16 times as much machine per dollar spent.
