For anyone who is concerned about internet privacy and browser cookies, I just installed this free utility from PC Magazine. The name is CookieCop. It allows you to select which sites you want to accept cookies from, instead of accepting all or none. Many times cookies are needed, like for the new SI, but the ones you get from banner ads just fill up your hard disk and allow the advertisers to target you better. Try it out, you will be amazed at how much data is being sent to your computer without your knowledge. Now you can weed out the desirable cookies from the unwanted ones. I am impressed with it already.

Go to zdnet.com then click on CookieCop.
