Actually, I didn't say that I didn't believe in evolution. I said that the deck was stacked against introducing other theories, and it was difficult for Evangelical parents to find accommodations. I am not an Evangelical....On evolution, I am a sort of agnostic. That is, it is clear to me that there has been intra-species evolution, what is not clear is that there has been inter-species evolution. It is not clear to me why there should be multi-cellular organisms, or how, if evolution is incremental, there could have been the big leaps to complex structures like the eye or the digestive track, without introducing the idea of providence. The theory is pretty weak on these things, it is just that, once you define science as excluding supernatural causes, it wins by default.......
